The town of Dynów was where one of the giants of Chassidism — Rabbi Zvi Elimelech Spira was born. He and his son Rabbi Duvid The Tzaddick of Dinov are buried in the ohel [memorial gravesite] in the old Jewish cemetery in Dynów.
