Spirit of the Bones
We went back to the place where they came from. Someone from the town told us where the bones were buried. The townspeople had marked the area with a cross. Years later the Red Cross dug up the bones and reinterred them into the Jewish cemetery. The spirits of my ancestors hovered above.
