Srul and Adela
One of my genealogy mysteries concerns Adela, the daughter of my great-aunt. My father told me that Adela’s mother Adele died in childbirth. I have not found any death record for Adela, nor anything other than her daughter’s birth record in genealogical archives. I believe that both of them were either murdered at Bełżec or in a mass killing in their town of Kamionka Strumiłowa.
